Im Rahmen der Mailänder Möbelmesse 2012 wird atelier oï vom 16. bis zum 22. April im Palazzo Isimbardi eine einzigartige Outdoor-Installation präsentieren. Konzipiert als ein visuelles und geschmackliches Erlebnis. Die Outdoor-Produkte der Firmen Royal Botania und MDT-tex fügen sich perfekt in den weiten, offenen Innenhof des Palazzo Isimbardi ein, welchen atelier oï in einen theatralischen Schauplatz verwandelt.

Royal Botania, mit ihrer luxuriösen Outdoor Kollektion und MDT-tex mit ihren einzigartig, spektakulären Schirmen für große Flächen, freuen sich ihre neuesten Produkte in diesem beeindruckenden Umfeld präsentieren zu dürfen.

atelier oï wurde 1991 von Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis und Patrick Reymond in La Neuveville, Schweiz, gegründet. Der Grundsatz ihrer Philosophie ist die Idee der Interdisziplinarität. Die Arbeiten des atelier oï umfassen auf internationaler Ebene eine Vielfalt von Disziplinen, sei es Architektur oder Innenarchitektur, Produktdesign oder Szenographie und versuchen die Grenzen der verschiedenen Branchen zu brechen. Zwischenmenschliche Verbindungen und eine intuitive sowie emotionale Bindung zum Material sind atelier oï’s Kennzeichen und verbinden das Trio seit 20 Jahren.

Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Royal Botania, atelier oï sowie MDT-tex repräsentiert atelier oï’s Faszination verschiedene Disziplinen zu Fusionieren und markiert nur den Anfang einer längerfristigen Beziehung. Der erste Schritt bei dieser Zusammenarbeit ist in der besonderen Textil-Kollektion von Royal Botania zu sehen, entworfen von atelier oï. Gefolgt wird diese Kollaboration mit einem Projekt von MDT-tex und atelier oï.

A poetic outdoor scenography at “Palazzo Isimbardi” by atelier oï

In context of the 2012 Milan Furniture Fair, from April 16 to 22, at the Palazzo Isimbardi, atelier oï will be presenting a unique outdoor installation, thought of as a visual and taste experience. Products from both Royal Botania and MDT-tex will blend into the scenery of the Palazzo Isimbardi’s courtyard, transformed for the occasion into a theatrical décor by atelier oï.

Royal Botania, with their luxurious outdoor collection and MDT-tex with their unique, spectacular parasols for large spaces, look forward to presenting you their latest products amidst this impressive scenography.

Atelier oï was founded in La Neuveville, Switzerland, in 1991 in by Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond. At the heart of their philosophy is the idea of multidisciplinarity. On an international scale the work of atelier oï ranges from architecture and interior design to product design and scenography and tries to dissolve the barriers among the different disciplines. Cross-disciplinary, human relationships and an intuitive and emotional rapport with the material are thus their watchwords and bond the trio for over 20 years now.

The collaboration among Royal Botania, atelier oï and MDT-tex represents atelier oï’s desire for fusion and highlights only the beginning of an on-going liaison. The first step in this teamwork is visible in the special Royal Botania textile collection, designed by atelier oï and will subsequently be followed by a venture among MDT-tex and atelier oï.
